This way we can inspect the wall sheathing for rot or detreated before we cover it up. This is also a great time to inspect the insulation levels in your home to make sure they are up to code.
Once we remove all the old wall covering we will install Tyvek and tape all seams. This helps to prevent water from entering the structure of the building.
Next step we typically install ¾” Dow board. This is a leveling board and adds R value to the wall system. We also tape these seams on all Dow installed.
Next we will prep and cover all window and door trim with aluminum coli stock or install Azek trim as needed as per the spec of the project.
Next we will install all vinyl accessories and vinyl siding.
