The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that defines you
or your future.
Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create
obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can have the life you want; blindness is not
what holds you back.
We strive to educate the public about blindness; provide a vehicle for collective self-expression for
the blind, and further the acceptance of the blind on a basis of equality, security, and opportunity.
We are the blind speaking for ourselves.
As part of out 2017 fundraising campaign we will be holding a Valentine's Dinner Dance on Saturday,
February 11, 2017, at the Holiday Inn, 4600 Genesee Street, Cheektowaga.
How you can help:
Dinner Dance Tickets; $40 each, 2/$75. These will include a buffet dinner, Music, and door
prizes. if you purchase 6 or more tickets we will list you as a supporter in our ad journal
anddisplay your company logo prominently at the event.
Door Prizes; in exchange for your tax-deductible donation of merchandise or gift cards, we
will display your company logo prominently and announce your generosity at the event. There
are other options available for larger donations which we would be happy to discuss.
