Joann Falletta, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra’s musical director says there are two virtual BPO concerts coming up. The first concert is tomorrow at 7pm and it is a classical Christmas concert.
This December is a big month in the classical music world. Joann Falletta says it’s Beethoven’s 250th birthday. She says the BPO recorded a CD to celebrate him and it would make a perfect Christmas gift. It’s his heroic symphony; his number 3 which changed the music world. It is the first romantic symphony ever written. They also have a sounds of the season cd which is all your favorite songs and tunes from Christmas and wintertime.
