Music is Art is proud to announce plans for their annual Festival Fundrasier that takes place at Chef’s Restaurant.
This year’s event will happen on Thursday, August 18th from 5pm-9pm.
“The support we receive from Lou Billittier and everyone at Chef’s each year is truly incredible” said Phil Aguglia, Music is Art’s Board Chairman. The goal is to recreate the Music is Art Festival in a scaled down version for attendees to raise money to help us keep our annual Festival free.
This year’s fundraiser will feature entertainment from local bands, Peace Bridge and Dead Flowers, along with dance groups and DJs and our 2016 Battle of the High School Band winners, The French Quarter Hounds.
In addition to the basket raffle and silent auction featuring dozens of donated items from local area businesses, this event also includes a live auction featuring autographed guitars. Donny Raiser, Music is Art board member, works all year rounding up some pretty cool guitars and leads the live auction at the event with fellow board member, Paul Cambria. This year we’ll have autographed guitars from Jon Bon Jovi, James Taylor, Todd Rundgren, and Cheap Trick just to name a few.
