Mel Camp visits the Buffalo Zoo

Posted at 1:56 PM, Jul 02, 2020

The Buffalo Zoo is open and excited to welcome you back. They are taking precautions to keep everyone safe.

Christian from the Buffalo Zoo says you will have to pre-register your tickets online and pay online. Members just have to pre-register. No walk-ups will be allowed.

Everyone age two and older will have to wear masks. The zoo will be encouraging social distancing. There will be markers in front of exhibits and signs directing the flow of traffic so there will not be people walking back and forth.

The zoo has a clean team. They will be cleaning throughout the day and the zoo will be closed for 30 minutes each day where they will deep clean the whole zoo as much as they can.

The number one thing you can do to support the zoo is come and visit them. Pre-register and buy tickets online or you can buy a membership which helps support them as well. They also have an emergency response fund on their website. Visiting or donating online will help them all summer.
