Today marks the start of Juneteenth Festival 2019 and runs today and tomorrow at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park at Fillmore & Best in Buffalo.
The Festival was started in 1976 as a culturally relevant alternative to the country’s Bicentennial Celebration. It has now outgrown its original location on Jefferson and moved to Martin Luther King, Jr. Park.
This is a free event with vendors, food and entertainment for the entire family.
