If You Give a Child a Book..." campaign

Today at Woodrow Wilson Elementary school in Sloan, 7 Eyewitness News reporters and staff will be on hand to celebrate National Reading Day and help out at the school's book fair. Our book giveaway is the culmination of the Scripps Howard Foundation's "If You give a Child a Book..." campaign. Employees of the E.W. Scripps Company give to the Scripps Howard Foundation and put books into the hands of children in need across America. Every dollar raised is used for the purchase of books for children who may not have any books in their homes.
