Linda is joined by Rob Pacillo and Robert Giannetti from the Harmonia Chamber Singers.
They are hosting a concert event on March 10th called Rise Up!
This event is focused on the importance of, and inspiration behind, the history of African-American music.
With Buffalo’s heavy ties to the Underground Railroad, the event will also feature a music seminar hosted by Brainerd Blyden-Taylor, chronicling the hidden messages behind these spirituals as escaped slaves made their way north.
The event will also feature performances from local Buffalo public schools.
