When your gym is closed and you still need a workout, what do you do? It’s time to get creative with exercise. All you need is a floatmingo and a lake. Mel Camp took the floatmingo for a spin around Hoyt Lake. She says it’s like a spin class on the water and a good workout especially going against the breeze. You can take it as easy as you like. You can try and get some laps in, race or just float along.
The floatmingos are a great lower body exercise but if you are looking for an upper body workout try the rowboats at Hoyt Lake.
It is open daily from noon until 8pm weather permitting at Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park. The cost is $15 for 30 minutes on a floatmingo or for $10 you can take the rowboat out. Either choice is a great workout and even more fun.
