Erie County Health Commissioner Talks About Upcoming Rabies Clinics and it Lyme Disease Awareness Month

Dr. Gale Burstein talks about the upcoming free rabies clinics. She also talks about May being Lyme Disease Awareness Month. Lyme Disease is the most prevalent tick-borne disease in New York State. Symptoms include fever, headache fatigue and a distinctive bulls-eye rash at the site of the tick bite. Dr. Burstein gives us some tips to help prevent getting Lyme disease.
There are going to be three free rabies clinics in May.
May 15th West Seneca (4-7pm)
May 22nd Tonawanda (4-7pm)
May 29th Broadway Market (4-7pm)
