Dr. Werber talks about dog allergies.

Dogs scratch, lick, bite and rub.

An occasional itch may be normal.

However, it should never interrupt activities such as playing or eating, cause hair loss or skin damage, or be often enough that’s bothersome to you or your dog.

Frequent or constant scratching, licking, biting, scooting and/or rubbing are most often signs of an allergic skin disease.

You can find helpful tips by visiting YourAnimalInstinct.com and taking the itch quiz.
