Mel talks with Dr. Stephen Turkovich, VP and CMO Oishei Children’s hospital about First Night. This year First Night will be virtual, but you can still experience all the fun at home and Children’s Hospital received packages and presents to help the children celebrate too.
Dr. Stephen Turkovich says Oishei Children’s hospital lives and breaths on community support. He says there are so many things they do; that they offer to kids and families that aren’t reimbursed by insurance so they rely on the great generosity of the community, whether it is volunteering their time, giving gifts to kids or giving a money donation. He says it is so important.
