Blocher Homes was founded in 1904 by the late John and Elizabeth Blocher of Williamsville, NY. John Blocher’s vision included providing “A home where aging men and women may enjoy their senior years.”
The original home opened for residency in 1906 and the current building opened in 1970. The Blocher Homes joined Beechwood Continuing Care, an assisted living facility, in 1977.
