What started as a mistake has turned into so much more for Brandon Hilt McManus.
"It started by accidednt. I had just moved back to Buffalo and I needed a table. I found a pallet and put it back together as a table instead of going out and buying something," he said.
Ever since, Hilt McManus has been crafting wood creations, and started No. 41 Supply.
"As often as possible I will try to use reclaimed wood if I can find barn wood or some other type of reclaimed wood."
He specializes in using wood to create a picture, mostly replicating animals.
"I have done United States maps, custom creations. People come to me with ideas they want to see," he said.
No. 41 Supply has sold around 200 pieces, and Brandon says the City of Buffalo provides the perfect dose of inspiration for his craft.
"There's a lot of creativity in Buffalo."
