It's the first time in the history of Shea's Buffalo that the National Tour of a Broadway show is being launched here in the Queen City on their stage. According to the Senior Production Manager Jason Juenker "It's a great town, it's a great theatre, it's a great audience base"

Finding Neverland has "wowed" them in the big apple, but before the curtain goes up for the hometown crowd everything has to be set up. Nine truckloads of lighting & sound equipment, scenery and miles and miles of cable were loaded into the stage at Shea's. Since this is the premier  of the National Tour of Finding Neverland everything here is brand new.

The load-in was open to guests and a number of people took advantage of that invitation, bringing box lunches to watch all the technicians at work as the hung lights, ran cables and filled the stage with a buzz of activity.

Finding Neverland is the story of how playwright J.M. Barrie struggled to create one of the most memorable characters in theatre: Peter Pan. The show opens October 7th and runs through October 15th. More information at Shea's website and tickets are available at
