The pain management office of Dr. Eugene Gosy will now be closed for the next two weeks.
That information was posted on his office's website, indicating that the office would resume appointments on Monday May 16th.
It says patients needing assistance in the meantime should see their primary care physician.
Dr. Gosy is charged with illegally writing hundreds of thousands of pain pill prescriptions. A grand jury has indicted him on more than one-hundred federal counts.
The DEA says prescriptions written by Dr. Gosy before he handed over his license on Wednesday are valid and can be filled. Anything after that date cannot.
