Cheektowaga Police are assuring parents there are no threats being made against local schools. The assurance comes following reports of possible threats of violence at two Cheektowaga schools. Police say those threats are actually involve schools in Phoenix, Arizona.
Police say they've gotten a number of calls and social media messages from parents about possible threats. An investigation showed that the person who was making them lived in Phoenix, and was talking about schools there. Phoenix Police have been notified and are now investigating that person.
