QUEENSTON, Ont. (WKBW) — The Whirlpool Jet Boat Tours will launch its 2020 season on Canada Day, July 1, with new safety protocols.
The protocols include:
- Limiting capacity to 50% to ensure physical distancing can be practiced
- Sanitized whitewater helmets and face shields
- Protective masks required for people in enclosed areas
- Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing
- Spot cleaning of "high-touch surfaces"
- Access to hand sanitization stations
The tours, which operate on both sides of the Niagara River in Queenston, Ontario and Lewiston, New York, are offering a "staycation" promotion to New York and Ontario residents. Locals can get a 20% discount when they book online. Find out more information at their website.
