Phil Valenti connected for eight 3-pointers and poured in 24 points to lift Canisius past Siena 80-73 Saturday night.
The Griffs led by as many as 17 in the second half, but had to hang on late for the seven point win as Siena closed the gap to five midway through the frame.
Both Keifer Douse and Kassius Robertson chipped in with 13 points, while Niagara Falls native Jermaine Crumpton also added 10 in the victory.
The Griffs improve to 15-10 and 8-6 in the Metro Atlantic. They return to action Monday when they battle Saint Peter's.
