After starting conference play with a win, the UB football team has lost two straight games and is now 3-4 on the season.

UB fell to Northern Illinois 14-13 on Saturday afternoon to give them a 1-2 record in the Mid-American Conference.

Drew Anderson connected with Emmanuel Reed in the Bulls lone touchdown of the game. Reed finished the day with just 37 yards on the ground.

Anderson got another start as Tyree Jackson continues to recover from a knee injury he suffered a few weeks ago. But Anderson suffered an injury of his own, going down with an injury and finishing with 191 yards on 13 passes and the lone touchdown to Reed.

True freshman Kyle Vantrease stepped in and finished the game 8-for-16 for 153 yards. He became the 3rd quarterback to play for the Bulls this season.

UB will hit the road next weekend and will play Miami (OH) on Saturday.
