A Cattaraugus County woman died after a collision with a dump truck in the Village of Delevan Tuesday morning.
State Police in Machias say 56-year-old Lisa Toland was killed when she turned into the path of the truck on State Highway 16. The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. Toland was making a left-hand turn off of Stranburg Avenue, and was T-boned by the Mack dump truck, which was being driven by a 70-year-old man.
Toland was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver was taken to ECMC with non-life threatening injuries.
