An Elma woman is facing charges after the Erie County Sheriff's Office says she attacked two deputies at Elma Meadows Park.

According to investigators, a deputy on patrol spotted Laura Rusinski, 37, playing on a swing set around 9:15 Thursday night. The deputy informed Rusinski the park was closed and told her to leave.

A short time later, the same deputy spotted Rusinski on the golf course, at which time she told him she did not want to leave the park. The deputy eventually put Rusinski in the back of his patrol car to take her to her vehicle. During that time, she began yelling and banging her head on the door of the deputy's vehicle.

Another deputy arrived to assist upon returning Rusinski to her car. It was then, deputies say, that she charged at the arriving deputy. The other deputy intervened and placed her under arrest.

Rusinski is charged with misdemeanor criminal trespass and obstruction of governmental administration.
