A Mount Morris woman faces multiples charges for her involvement in a violent incident on Route 39 in the Town of Castile this past Sunday, according to Wyoming County Sheriff's Office.

30-year-old Zoraida Rodriguez is charged with 2nd-degree Kidnapping, 1st-degree Robbery, and 2nd-degree Assault. It's alleged she, along with several other suspects abducted and beat a 28-year-old farm worker.

Investigators say Rodriguez and the others "lured" the victim out of his residence around 10 p.m. Sunday and proceeded to pistol whip, beat, and robbed him of his cell phone and money.

He was able to escape after being driven around for 30 minutes when the suspects stopped roadside in the Town of Nunda. He found his way to a field and sought assistance.

The victim sustained non-life threatening head and facial injuries.

Rodriguez was arraigned in the Town of Gainsville Court and bail was set at $250,000 cash and $500,000 bond.
