Go-kart racers from across Upstate New York will be revving their engines for a championship race in Cheektowaga.
Pole Position Raceway at the Walden Galleria is hosting the 'Upstate Showdown' championship, where racers from Syracuse and Rochester will square off for a title and cash prizes.
Competitors have been racing through qualifying rounds at other Pole Position locations in a five-week long process in order to make it to the Cheektowaga-hosted championship race.
