After sitting for the first half of the Buffalo Bills' Week 11 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Tyrod Taylor will start at quarterback for the team's Week 12 matchup.

Head coach Sean McDermott named Taylor as starter in a press conference at One Bills Drive in Orchard Park on Wednesday morning.

Taylor will regain his starting role after Nathan Peterman's five interception performance against the Chargers on Sunday. Peterman, a rookie selected by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL Draft, completed six of 14 passes in the first half. He was benched in favor of Tyrod Taylor at halftime.

The Bills are coming off three consecutive losses, turning a 5-2 record into a 5-5 record heading into Week 12. The team will face the Kansas City Chiefs on the road on Sunday.
