The Tragically Hip will be playing its last concert ever tonight.
As news of The Hip's lead singer Gord Downie's terminal brain cancer shocked the band's fans in Canada and Buffalo, it spurred a farewell tour. The band performed one last tour around their native Canada that will end Saturday night in their hometown of Kingston, Ontario.
Larkin Square is hosting Buffalo's live screening of the final concert. Admission is $10 and all of the proceeds go towards the Sunnybrook Foundation's Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.
