Thursday didn’t start the way Roman Polyachenko was hoping it would. Before heading to work he woke up to quite the surprise at his home in Kenmore.

“You have to have some kind of low life bone in your body to do this to others,” said Polyachenko.

His Honda Civic was missing something, the tires. Polyachenko says during the night, they were stolen. Thanks to insurance, he'll be fine. But, Polyachenko has heard about this happening around his neighborhood. He says only days earlier, the same thing happened blocks away.

“It's one thing if it's just laying randomly in the middle of the street and they pick it up because they found it. It's another thing when they literally break in to your home, your car and just take what doesn't belong to them,” said Polyachenko.

In May, 7 Eyewitness News brought you a story about a string of Honda Fit's having their wheels stolen in the Elmwood Village. Rims, like the ones stolen from Polyachenko could cost upwards of $3,000 for a set of four.

“I'm just hoping somebody sees something and calls the police,” added Polyachenko.

The Kenmore Police are investigating.
