More than 8,000 cyclists and 2,000 volunteers turn out for the nation's largest one-day biking fundraiser.

The 'Ride for Roswell' is celebrating its 22nd year, raising millions of dollars for cutting edge research and patient care at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Cyclists of all ages can take part in routes ranging anywhere from three miles to 102 miles. There are 15 different routes. One of the routes goes over the Peace Bridge into Canada.

"We've got toddlers on tricycles and people who have been doing this year after year," says Terry Bourgeois, Ride steering chair for the Ride for Roswell.

Roswell's Celebration of Hope kicks off the Ride for Roswell on Friday June 23rd from 4 to 8 p.m. It's at UB's North Campus, near the ride's start and finish line near the Alumni Arena.

Registration for volunteers and riders is still open here.
