Parents, as summer approaches the rush for finding the right summer camp for your kids is on. But what about the time in between?

The Salvation Army of Greater Buffalo just rolled out a brand new program to help "fill-in" the gap and keep your kids busy and engaged from the end of the school year right into the beginning of camp.

The "Drop-In" Center started in January 2017 and continues through the end of the school year, with the exception of one week vacation before summer camp starts on June 26.

This inclusive program is for kids from 5-19, with doors open from 4-6 p.m. for younger kids and 5-8 p.m. for older kids.

The program incudes activities like: homework help, sports, and even field trips - all an effort to keep kids involved and on the right path during down time.

The center is located at the 960 Main Street location of the Salvation Army. For more information, visit the Salvation Army's website or contact Youth Director James McNeil at 883-9809.
