The Seneca Nation has elected a new president.
Todd Gates will now take the reigns from Maurice John Sr. Gates is the current Seneca Nation Treasurer, who ran as the Seneca Party candidate.
Gates is set to be sworn-in next week once election results have been officially certified by the clerk of the Seneca Nation.
