Neighbors in Niagara Falls are taking notice of the water main break at 47th Street and Niagara Falls Boulevard in the city. Those affected can see water pressure drop by about 25%.
18 others have burst around Niagara Falls since the first broke last month, that includes as many as five breaks in a single day.
There's no word on when the repair will be complete, according to Bob Drury, Superintendent of Outdoor Operations at the Niagara Falls Water Board.
Drury says fixing all the pipes in the city would cost hundreds of millions of dollars. For now, the solution is trying to stay ahead of the pipes and fix them before they become a problem.
