Buffalo Police are warning the public about fraudulent websites seeking donations for the family of fallen Officer Craig Lehner.
There are no GoFundMe pages or other sites that have been authorized by the family, a police spokesman said.
All donations intended for the Lehner family should be made to the Buffalo Police Benevolent Association at 74 Franklin Street in Buffalo. The zip code is 14202.
Officer Lehner, a nine-year veteran of the Buffalo Police Department, was laid to rest Wednesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery following a celebration of his life at KeyBank Center attended by 8,000 law enforcers, loved ones, colleagues and members of the public.
