A teenager is facing criminal charges after Buffalo Police say he had a handgun on him when he got involved in a fight Saturday evening.
Police say the fight broke out among several young people around 9 p.m. It happened near where the Carnival was taking place. Police say a 17-year-old Buffalo man had a handgun.
U.S. Security, a private security firm that works events at Canalside, quickly arrested the teen. They turned him over to Buffalo Police who officially charged him with criminal possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of marijuana.
