Olean Police are warning neighbors about a man who has been knocking on doors claiming to be a Marine.
Police say the man seen in these surveillance photos has been telling people his car broke down, then asking to borrow money. He says he'll return the next day to pay people back, but never returns. Victims say the man sometimes offers to leave a snow blower in exchange for the cash.
A number of people have filed complaints about him. Police say they know who he is, but they're not releasing his name. Anyone with information should call investigators at (716) 376-5672.
