The Erie County Sheriff's Office has charged a 13 year-old boy with a string of burglaries in Clarence.
Investigators say the teen broke into homes on Clearview Drive and Ledge Lane and stole an iPhone, a GPS watch, jewelry and other items. He damaged screens, a sliding door and a canvass deck while trying to break into a third home on Fox Trace Street, the sheriff's office said.
While burglarizing a home on Ledge Lane, deputies say the suspect went through a purse and then viewed several pornographic websites using the homeowner's laptop computer.
Investigators say the teen has admitted to breaking into two homes and trying to burglarize a third.
He is charged with felony counts of burglary and attempted burglary and misdemeanor counts of petit larceny, criminal trespassing and criminal mischief.
The teen is due to appear in family court at a later date.
