On Saturday, Deputies from the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Office responded to a car accident on Route 5 just before 4:00 p.m. in the Town of Sheridan.
Kristi Jones, 25 of Dunkirk was operating a vehicle when swerved to miss a deer and lost control of the vehicle, according to authorities.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck a mailbox, road sign, fire hydrant and a fence. It then overturned and was left on its roof.
Jones and two children suffered minor injuries. An infant was unharmed in the incident.
Her front seat passenger, 31-year-old Eric Jones suffered injuries that appeared to be serious but non-life threatening.
Everyone in the vehicle was taken by ambulance to Brooks Hospital.
No charges have been filed.
