A new medical director is set to join a Williamsville pain management clinic.
According to Buffalo Business First, Dr. James Hitt will join Gosy & Associates Pain Management Clinic on August 1st.
The move comes following the arrest of Dr. Eugene Gosy. The doctor is facing federal charges. He's accused of illegally writing prescriptions for pain meds.
His practice initially shut down in April following Gosy's indictment, but reopened two weeks later under the supervision of other doctors. Gosy returned to the practice in June, but can legally only practice medicine under supervision.
