The Erie County District Attorney's Office announces a six-year sentence for 41-year-old Buffalo man Rasheed Clanton.

Police originally responded to a dog fighting incident at Clanton's home and spotted a bag of heroin. A search warrant at the house turned up the paraphernalia.

Clanton was found guilty of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree and three counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree in November.
