First Niagara Bank has already begun transitioning to KeyBank.
All branches are expected to close at 3 p.m. on Friday as the bank begins converting First Niagara customer information and systems to KeyBank.
According to KeyBank, mobile and telephone banking services will no longer be available beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday. However, customers will still be able to make purchases, pay bills, and withdraw money at ATMs during the conversion weekend. Customers will not be able to make ATM deposits once branches close on Friday. Online bill pay services have already been suspended.
First Niagara branches that are becoming KeyBank branches are expected to open at 9 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11.
