More soldiers stationed at the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station are headed to Puerto Rico to help with recovery efforts following Hurricane Maria.  The 125 members are from the New York National Guard's 152nd Engineer Company.

The soldiers will begin deploying to Puerto Rico Wednesday, October 18th.  Their heavy construction equipment was already shipped to Puerto Rico, and will be there for them to use.

The New York Army National Guard already has 60 soldiers and four helicopters from the 3rd battalion 142nd Aviation conducting relief efforts, as well as 132 soldiers of the 442nd Military Police Company, and 20 members of the New York Air National Guard.
