A two-alarm barn fire in the Town of Darien Saturday night left several animals dead.
Multiple fire companies were called to the scene on Simonds road.
According to the GoFundMe page started for the family, no people were hurt, "but if you know one thing about our family our animals are at the core of it."
The page also says the entire barn burned to the ground and the family lost all the farm equipment inside.
The GoFundMe page has a goal of $25,000. As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, a total of $4,785 had been raised.
