From porch gardens, to backyard gardens, to sidewalk strips and hanging displays, GardenWalk Buffalo is gearing up for its 23rd year of beautiful neighborhood garden tours.

The largest garden tour in America, GardenWalk Buffalo is a free, self-guided two-day tour that encourages people to explore various city gardens in their own time and in their own way.

New this year, if you're looking to explore gardens in a bit faster pace, you can do so. Five free hop-on/hop-off shuttle buses are being offered with guides from Explore Buffalo and that will run continuously both days.

It's a tour that not only showcases the talent here in Western New York, but the love neighbors have for their communities.

Lunenfeld Beautification Grants make it possible for neighborhoods to nurture potted planters on sidewalks and hanging streetlight baskets, community projects that many gardeners take pride in.

This year, more than 65,000 guests from around the country and beyond are expected to visit more than 400 creative and unique urban gardens.

GardenWalk Buffalo runs Saturday, July 29th and Sunday, July 30th.
