Students in four school district and one school have had snow days all week, but because of the ongoing weather-related issues, they won’t have to return to school until December 1.

The Orchard Park, West Seneca, Hamburg and Frontier school districts have all announced that they will be closed through December 1. Mount Mercy Academy in Buffalo is also closed through December 1. All say their facilities are in good condition, but because of concerns about bus access to neighborhoods and pedestrian safety, they decided to close.
In Hamburg, due to this change, December 22 and 23 will now be attendance days for students. And instead of having a Thanksgiving Dinner Drive, it will be a holiday dinner drive instead, with food distribution to take place on December 15.
Orchard Park Central Schools will now hold a vote on a capital improvement project originally scheduled for November 18 on December 1.
Erie Community College also announced all three campuses will be closed through Tuesday, November 25.
