Six hydrangeas dug out of a front yard in the Elmwood Village have been found and returned to the homeowner.

Lucia Frasca credits "courageous neighbors" with helping locate her flowers, which had been replanted elsewhere. A Buffalo Police detective assisted in returning the flowers to Frasca.

Frasca came out to water the flowers on the morning of July 23rd only to discover big holes in the flower bed.

Her experience apparently wasn't an isolated incident. The Nextdoor app lists multiple reports of plants or flowers stolen in the area.

No one is facing charges, Frasca said.
