A farming and outdoor retailer want to breathe new life into a vacant Walmart in Lockport.
The Niagara-Gazette is reporting that 'Runnings' plans to open its first local location at 5789 South Transit Road.
The former Walmart has sat vacant for almost three and a half years, according to the Niagara- Gazette.
Walmart relocated down the road to a larger building. The retailer says that the new location would bring 70 to 75 jobs to Lockport.
Running plans to open the new location in April of 2019.
