Slippery roads caused an accident in the Town of Wheatfield Sunday morning, according to the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators say a car was driving on Niagara Road when the driver lost control and slid sideways across the oncoming lane of traffic.
The car hit a tree on the passenger side at 2765 Niagara Road in the front yard.
The female driver was pulled from the car and taken to Erie County Medical Center by ambulance.
