An investigation is underway following a one car accident in the Town of Darien Friday Night.
The Genesee County Dispatch received a call around 10:30 p.m. reporting a car rolled over in a field on Simonds Road.
Deputies report the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Sumner Road when it lost control on a left curve and rotated counterclockwise traveling off the west shoulder of the road.
The driver, Timothy Rohl, was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC with serious injuries. Christine Ost, the passenger, was taken to ECMC by ambulance with minor injuries.
Unsafe speed is a contributing factor in the crash, according to authorities. The crash is being investigated and charges are pending.
