A little over a month ago, Crayola announced it was removing the dandelion crayon from its classic 24-pack.
Now the crayon giant is announcing a new blue!
Crayola is looking for the public's help in naming the new blue color which was created from a new blue pigment that was discovered in 2009.
The pigment called YInMn (yin-min) was discovered by a chemistry professor at Oregon State University, according to Crayola. The company says this is the first new blue pigment to be discovered in 200 years!
People are using the hashtag #NameTheBlue and visiting Crayola's website to submit their name suggestions.

So @Crayola is letting you #nametheblue. Which is better? 1) @MChaseRadio's "BamBLUEzzled" or 2) @jackgoesforth 's "A Boy Named Blue"? pic.twitter.com/KuA8kj5kGV
