Erie County is marking Flag Day by launching a new fundraising campaign to support veterans' posts across the county.
The Clerk's Office is working with veterans and business leaders to kick off a new initiative called "Pledge for the Posts."
Starting June 14, veterans will be stationed at the Erie County Auto Bureaus, selling American Flag cutouts for $1 each. 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward the Veterans Post Restoration of Erie County, NY fund.
There are currently 20 veterans' posts participating in the restoration.
