Should police officers wear body cameras? That's a debate all across the country and now local police departments are considering a purchase.
Buffalo Police spokesman Michael DeGeorge told 7 Eyewitness News the department is considering the feasibility of cameras for the department, including the potential cost to taxpayers.
BPD is looking at a possible project that would involve the use of body cameras on a limited basis.
There is no word yet on when a decision will be made.
